Anna and Sharon are two "thirty-somethings" who are canoeing in a dual Canadian canoe for 91 miles in aid of the Woodgreen Animal Shelter. The journey will take them 5 days and they are hoping to raise in excess of £2,000. Neither Anna or Sharon have any experience and, until recently, no equipment which is what makes this such a challenge!
Wood Green Animal Shelter is a charity which takes in unwanted and lost animals, provides shelter, care and finds them secure loving homes. They also provide support and guidance for pet owners as well as increasing the publics awareness of its responsibility towards animals in society.
